The Poll: When Can Ukraine Win the War? - People Hope for the Best, But Prepare for the Worst

Kyiv Post correspondents once again hit the streets to gather firsthand perspectives on another contentious question: When could Ukraine potentially achieve victory in the war—before the end of 2024, or after 2025 or even later?

This time, we broadened our scope even further, conducting interviews in four cities: Kyiv, New York, London, and Warsaw.

From the responses received, it’s clear people are inclined to hope for the best-case scenario and want to believe this war could come to an end as soon as possible. Nonetheless, while considering the actual circumstances, they are also mentally prepared for the scenario that the war might endure for years.
