President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of France Emmanuel Macron in a telephone talk on April 27 paid a special attention to the developments in the east of Ukraine and a state of implementation of the agreements reached during a Paris Summit in a Normandy format in December 2019.

According to the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state, the French president congratulated him on the mutual release of the detainees on April 16, 2020, due to which 20 people returned to Ukraine.

“The importance of continuing negotiations to achieve peace in the Donbas was noted,” reads the report.
