Showman and actor Volodymyr Zelensky who has announced his intention to run for president of Ukraine in the elections scheduled for March 31, 2019 has called on Ukrainians to join him in developing his election program.
“It seems to me the old politicians have lived in accordance with a very simple principle: ‘Never asked anything of anyone, promised a lot, never done anything.’ I will do it in a completely different way: we will write my program together with you. We will write it down together with our people, our entire country to find ways to solve all the problems and then to implement it,” Zelensky said in a video address published on his Facebook page on January 8 afternoon.
“So, step number one: please, write down five major problems of Ukraine that trouble you in particular. Write them down, let’s start with this,” the showman said.
