The team of presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelenskiy is interested in obtaining a reliable majority in parliament to carry out the proposed reforms, and will insist on the adoption of a new Electoral Code.

“Parliamentary elections should be held under the new electoral code,” said a member of the team of Zelenskiy, former finance minister Oleksandr Danyliuk at the free market road show organized by the Bendukidze free market on April 2.

He noted that he doesn’t see the desire of the parliament to adopt this document, however, he stressed that Zelenskiy’s team would insist on it.

According to Danyliuk, before the parliamentary elections, priority will be given to the reforms, where one can show a quick result, where the president has the authority to do so. Among them, he called the transformation of the judicial system, the reform of the SBU and anti-corruption bodies.
