Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has announced that Ukraine expects to receive a first tranche of European Union’s Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) IV worth 1 billion Euros in autumn.

“We are committed to speed up the process of concluding a relevant Memorandum of Understanding in September with a view to receiving a first tranche already this autumn,” he said at a press conference after the Ukraine-EU Summit in Brussels on July 9.
