Russia-backed separatists mounted 12 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action (KIA) and another four as wounded.
“In general, separatists have conducted 12 shellings over the past day, and, unfortunately, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, one was injured, and another one suffered a combat injury. In addition, another two Ukrainian soldiers were injured during the execution of the combat mission after stepping on an unidentified explosive device,” the press center of the Ukrainian Army Headquarters reported on Facebook on February 20 morning.
