The United Nations General Assembly will consider a draft resolution of Ukraine on the militarization of the Sea of Azov on December 17, Volodymyr Yelchenko, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations, has said.

“Now we have an amended draft. It is a very important issue. As you know, it will be considered at the General Assembly on December 17. At present, it is part of the morning agenda,” he said at a news briefing on the situation on the Black and Azov Seas that took place at the United Nations on December 5.

The envoy also said the draft resolution was extended with the data about Russia’s aggression in the Kerch Strait.
