United States Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper had a “productive” telephone conversation with Ukrainian Defense Minister Andriy Zahorodnyuk.

“I had a productive call with Ukrainian Defense Minister Zahorodnyuk. I am optimistic about his vision for MoD and commitment to defense and anti-corruption reforms. I expressed unwavering U.S. support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Mark Esper wrote on Twitter.
