The U.S. state of New York has recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as the genocide of Ukrainians.
“The Senate and the Assembly of the State of New York adopted a joint resolution dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine, which recognizes this tragedy as the genocide of the Ukrainian people,” the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States reports.
