UkrInform: Information Policy Ministry says NATO membership a priority for Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko delivers a speech to Ukrainian lawmakers in the Ukrainian Parliament in Kyiv on Sept. 20. During his speech on the internal and external situation of Ukraine in 2018 Poroshenko raised the questions of NATO and European Union membership, Kremlin media influence ahead of future elections and the creation of the Autocephalous Orthodox Ukrainian Church.

Ukrainian Deputy Information Policy Minister Dmytro Zolotukhin said this at the 15th Assembly of the NATO-Ukraine Civic League.

“Despite different decision-making centers in the member states of the North Atlantic Alliance, Ukraine has to move towards Euro-Atlantic integration and future membership in NATO,” Zolotukhin said.
