Nearly 423,000 foreigners had permits for temporary or permanent residence in Poland as of early 2020, or 50,000 more than a year ago. The largest number of permits (more than 35,000) was issued to Ukrainian citizens, whose number increased to almost 215,000, Polish Office for Foreigners spokesman Jakub Dudziak has said.
