Ukraine’s Central Election Commission (CEC) as of March 15, registered 742 official international observers at the presidential elections in Ukraine on March 31.

“Having considered relevant applications, the Commission registered 44 more official observers at the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine on March 31, 2019: nine from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), two from the Portuguese Republic, 33 from the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America,” the CEC’s press service said.

In addition, having considered the relevant appeal, the CEC canceled the registration of an official observer from the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America.

Thus, as of March 15, the CEC registered 742 official observers from 10 international organizations and eight foreign states for the March 31 presidential vote.
