Ukraine is planning to invite Russia to join the platform for the de-occupation of Crimea, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.
“We are planning to send one invitation. It will be an invitation to the Russian Federation to join the Crimean platform and enter into negotiations on the de-occupation of Crimea,” Kuleba said on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel on Sunday.
At the same time, he stressed that he had “no illusions” about the Russian response. “I have no illusions about the Russian response to our invitation, it will be negative, but we will send such an invitation,” the minister added.
