You're reading: Ukraine receives more than 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from Romania

Romania handed over to Ukraine a batch of vaccine against the coronavirus by AstraZeneca company in the form of humanitarian aid (100.800 doses), the press service of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration reported.

“Ukraine has received 100,800 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19. This is humanitarian aid from Romania,” the Regional State Administration said on its Facebook page on Friday evening.

The vaccine was handed over at Siret-Porubne checkpoint.

The arrived batch of the drug will be delivered to the central warehouse in Kyiv, subject to the cold regime.

It is noted that the vaccine will be distributed among all regions of Ukraine.
