Kyiv and Chisinau have discussed the problematic issues of the Ukrainian-Moldovan relations, the Transdniester settlement, information security and cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.
“In Kyiv, on February 15, 2018, Ukrainian-Moldovan political consultations took place at the level of Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Tatiana Molchan,” the ministry said on Thursday.
During the consultations the parties discussed the schedule of visits and meetings at the leadership level of the two states, cooperation within international organizations, the problematic issues of Ukrainian-Moldovan relations, the Transdniester conflict settlement, information security and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
‘Political consultations showed an interest in the intensification of the Moldovan-Ukrainian cooperation on a bilateral level and within multilateral formats of cooperation,” the ministry said.
It is also noted that the state Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European integration of the Republic of Moldova invited the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to visit the Republic of Moldova.
