Ukraine demands to block the Twitter account of the so-called “representative office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Crimea,” First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova said.

“In addition to our previous calls we reiterate that it is absolutely unacceptable to give so-called Russia’s MFA in Ukrainian Crimea a verified check mark while the International community including the majority of UN member-states clearly says that Crimea is Ukraine. Twitter must block that account immediately!” Dzhaparova wrote on Twitter on Feb. 8.
