NATO assistance provided to Ukraine through trust funds has proven effective and helps this country defend itself, in particular, against so-called hybrid threats, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in Kyiv on Thursday.

Stoltenberg said NATO assistance has helped Ukrainian achieve tangible results. He said assistance has been provided to the wounded and used to strengthen protection against hybrid threats and cyberthreats.

NATO advisers daily assist in the reform process, Stoltenberg said.

He recalled that through trust funds managed to send about 40 million euros to support Ukraine in the military sphere.
