Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has declared the goal of relations between Ukraine and Belarus is raising trade turnover to $5 billion.
“We set the task in the near future to reach $5 billion of our mutual trade turnover,” Poroshenko said during a joint statement with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Kyiv.
According to him, trade turnover between Ukraine and Belarus increased by 26 percent compared to 2016.
For Ukraine, Belarus is the fourth largest partner in trade turnover, while Ukraine is second for Belarus, the president of Ukraine noted.
