Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded amid a skirmish in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on Sept. 21.

“Two members of the Joint Forces were wounded amid a skirmish. The situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone is under control,” the press center of the JFO said in an update on Facebook on Sept. 21.

In total, Russian-led forces violated the ceasefire in Donbas four times from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 21.

The enemy did not use proscribed weapons, but they opened aimed fire from grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

“Using grenade launchers, the Russian occupation forces shelled Joint Forces’ positions near the village of Krymske. The enemy also resorted to grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to attack our defenders near the village of Hnutove,” it said.
