You're reading: Three Ukrainian soldiers injured amid enemy’s drone explosion in Donbas

Three Ukrainian servicemen received injuries and combat wounds following explosion of an unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to Russia-occupation forces in eastern Ukraine on Thursday, according to the page of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.

JFO combat losses over the past 24 hours totals five servicemen, one of whom was killed. Four servicemen were hospitalized, the report said.

“The fact of the wounding of three servicemen was confirmed after clarification of all the circumstances of the incident. As a result of the explosion of an enemy drone near our positions, one Ukrainian defender received multiple shrapnel wounds and two more received acubarotrauma (consequences of blast wave). Now the wounded military are in military medical institutions, where they are receiving qualified medical care,” JFO HQ reported.

Previously it was reported that one person killed and one injured as a result of shelling attacks by Russia-occupation forces in eastern Ukraine on January 9.
