The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has banned activities of 33 websites that provided illegal access to gambling in banned online casinos and bookmakers.
“Within the framework of the criminal proceedings, which was initiated, cybersecurity experts and investigators of the SBU checked a number of Internet resources that provided access to banned gambling business according to available data. Law enforcement officers recorded violations of the requirements of several laws of Ukraine in their activities,” the press service of the SBU said on February 21.
According to the SBU, the National Commission for Communications and Informatization Regulation, on the basis of the decision of Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv, blocked the illegal websites discovered by the SBU.
A pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 203-2 and Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine continues.
