Sberbank is currently preparing to make a fourth attempt to sell its Ukrainian business, the lender’s CEO Herman Gref said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 television channel.
“Ukraine is a story in its own right, and we have already made three attempts to sell the bank. We will now make a fourth attempt. Hopefully this time around it will be successful. We plan to draw down our business in Europe and develop our business in Kazakhstan and Belarus,” Gref said.
