Russia, the European Union and Ukraine may hold a trilateral meeting in the middle of July, Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

“We have provisionally agreed on such a meeting in the middle of August, but now plan to reach an agreement over the course of the near future on the final list of items to be examined at this meeting. It is definitely not clear for now, because all the sides must be in agreement,” he said.

Novak has already met with European Commissioner for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic in Washington in the framework of the World Gas Conference. “We discussed the entire list on the agenda, both Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream, synchronous operation with the Baltic States and of course, the key issue, the question of gas transit through Ukraine after 2019,” he said.
