About a hundred of the Right Sector radical movement activists blocked the exit from Lukyanivske pre-trial detention facility in Kyiv, from where the five former Berkut riot police officers must be taken to attend a court session in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynsky District Court for a hearing in the EuroMaidan activists murders case. All five are accused of killing at least 48 protesters on Institutska Street in February 2014.
Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported, ex-President Viktor Yanukovych will be questioned via video conference from Rostov-On-Don and also notified officially of charges against him.
The court hearing, and Yanukovych’s interrogation, consequently, may not take place because of the suspects’ abscence.
