The Verkhovna Rada has updated the legislation on the protection of atmospheric air in order to fulfill Ukraine’s international obligations in the field of climate change prevention.
Some 319 deputies voted for the adoption of relevant bill No. 4259 at the second reading at an extraordinary plenary meeting on July 22.
The document introduces amendments to the law on the protection of atmospheric air regarding the regulation of economic activities for ozone-depleting substances and fluorinated greenhouse gases.
