Head of the parliamentary committee on social policy Halyna Tretyakova (Servant of the People faction) announces plans to write a new code of laws within three-four years that will regulate the scope of social protection of citizens, similar to the Social Code in the EU.
“In the European Union, social protection of citizens is written in the Social Code – a law that at the code level, like the Civil Code, describes what the country protects. We, unfortunately, do not have such a system yet. We will strive to formulate such a Code in Ukraine within three-four years, since this is a very large project, but we are already starting to do it,” Tretyakova said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
