The self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic” (“DPR”) will be temporarily led by its Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Trapeznikov after the killing of Alexander Zakharchenko.

“In accordance with Part One of Article 102 of the “DPR” Constitution, and following the killing of Zakharchenko, it was decided to vest [his] duties on the deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers, Dmitry Viktorovich Trapeznikov,” “DPR” People’s Council chairman Denis Pushilin told journalists.
