Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio assured Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko of supporting reforms in Ukraine, combating corruption and confronting Russia’s armed aggression.

“Received strong support for Ukraine’s key reform agenda, the fight against corruption and our defence against armed aggression. I look forward to welcoming the Minister to Ukraine in the near future,” Prystaiko wrote on Twitter on Monday.

As reported, on February 9-10, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko pays a visit to the Italian Republic at the invitation of his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio.

Within the framework of the visit, Prystaiko also plans to meet with President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic, Roberto Fico, leaders of parliamentary committees and representatives of parliamentary factions. In addition, Minister Prystaiko will speak at one of the leading research centers in Rome – the Institute of International Affairs (Istituto Affari Internazionali).
