Press secretary of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Nykyforov has said that the newly appointed Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov took a month break from communicating with the media in order to become fully acquainted and conduct a full audit of the Ministry of Defense.
According to him, the main task of Reznikov in the near future is to understand how the ministry functions.
“And then – the provision of the army. It seems to me that the president set just such a task so that the Ukrainian serviceman would be shod, dressed, fed well, have good financial support, competitive salaries – Mr. Reznikov spoke about this in the Verkhovna Rada during the voting for his candidacy,” Nykyforov said on the air of the Dom TV channel.
