President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has started his state visit to Georgia.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian president, during the visit, Poroshenko is scheduled to meet with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Margvelashvili, with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Chairman of the Georgian parliament Irakli Kobakhidze.
During the visit, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents aimed at deepening strategic cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia.
In addition, the presidents of Ukraine and Georgia will open a business forum in Tbilisi and take part in the work of the investment round table in Batumi.
Within the framework of the visit, the president of Ukraine will also visit the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, where he will meet with Chairman of the Government of Adjara Zurab Patardze.
