In Kyiv, the column of the March of the Defenders of Ukraine proceeded along Khreschatyk, after which some of the participants reached the Wall of Memory on Mykhailivska Square, where a prayer service is being held for the fallen veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
As the correspondent of the Interfax-Ukraine reports, the participants of the march walked in organized columns along the main street of the capital, some of them lit pyrotechnics there. People lined up on both sides of the street, applauding and chanting “Glory to the Heroes” and “Ukraine first!” slogans. The march was accompanied by law enforcement officers.
From Maidan Nezalezhnosti, the participants of the march went to Mykhailivska Square, where they honored the memory of the fallen veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war at the wall of memory.
