Russia-backed separatists violated the ceasefire regime in Donbas seven times on July 20, carrying out six attacks on Ukrainian positions and launching an unmanned aerial vehicle that crossed the contact line.
“There are no combat losses among our defenders. The Ukrainian military opened fire to shelling attacks of the Russian occupation forces,” the Joint Forces Operation said on its Facebook page on July 20.
Russia-occupation forces fired from 120mm mortars, hand-held and heavy-duty anti-tank and under-barrel grenade launchers, as well as small arms. Four of six attacks were launched on the outskirts of the town of Avdiyivka, Donetsk region. The Ukrainian side of the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) notified the representatives of the OSCE Mission about the facts of violations by the enemy, applying the established coordination mechanism.
