As of Jan. 2, there were 1,512,435 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Donbas and Crimea, Ukraine’s Social Policy Ministry has said.
“As of Jan. 2, 2019, according to information from structural units of social protection received from regional and Kyiv state administrations, there are 1,512,435 IDPs from temporarily occupied Crimea and Donetsk, Luhansk regions,” a press release of the ministry released on Jan. 2 said.
As earlier reported, as of Feb. 12, 2018, there were 1,427,000 IDPs registered in Ukraine.
