Lithuania’s Minister of National Defense Raimundas Karoblis stresses that Europe should continue its joint approach to supporting Ukraine to ensure its security.
“We must continue our joint approach to Ukraine in order to counter these threats not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe … We, the Western countries, should give a stronger joint push to Ukraine,” he said, speaking at the Kyiv Security Forum on Thursday.
According to the minister, Russia continues its aggressive behavior.
“We should have no illusions. It is constantly strengthening and building up its potentials. These potentials post a threat not only to Ukraine, but also to Europe,” he added.
He noted that Europe should become a leader of political support for Ukraine.
