On Oct. 16, in the center of Kyiv, servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine, together with representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, took part in large-scale tactical-special anti-terrorist exercises, the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine reports.
According to the legend of the exercises, the “terrorists” captured the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine. An anti-terrorist action plan was introduced. At the same time, unidentified persons laid an imitation model of an “improvised explosive device” near the embassy building.
“Thus, in conditions close to real ones, all the guards in theory and practically worked out an algorithm for countering sabotage and reconnaissance groups, identifying and neutralizing terrorists, neutralizing explosive devices. Also, all involved units demonstrated an effective result of interagency cooperation in extreme conditions,” the National Guard said on its official website on Oct. 16 evening.
