Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin hopes that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will agree on the tactics regarding the implementation of the idea of introducing a peacekeeping mission in Donbas.
“Primarily I expect clear coordination of tactics, the way we promote peacekeepers, and very clear steps. Now we’ve agreed with the French. Le Durand (French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian) came … The next step is to agree it with the Americans. We have a joint concept. Now there should be a common tactic,” he said on the Inter TV channel on Friday night.
According to the minister, during the meeting they will discuss the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, as well as the issue of Siemens turbines illegally delivered to the occupied Crimea.
As reported, Poroshenko will meet with Merkel on April 10.
