Over the last ten days, seven militants surrendered themselves to the police of Donetsk region, the press service of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said on its Facebook page on Saturday.
“This year, the police announced suspicion to 74 militants. Then they will be tried in the court and, as a rule, up to eight years of imprisonment are determined by the law for such crimes. Though, for citizens who fell under the influence of pro-Russian propaganda and joined illegal armed groups, but did not commit serious crimes, the law provides exemption from criminal liability,” the ministry’s the press service said.
