French Foreign Minister visits Chornobyl

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian visited the exclusion zone in Chornobyl on Saturday to see the arch over the reactor of Chornobyl nuclear power plant, French Ambassador to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont said on Twitter.

“Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian visited Chornobyl to inspect the completion of the construction of the arch that now covers the destroyed reactor thanks to the unique solutions of the French engineering group Groupe Bouygues and VINCI,” the ambassador said.
