Russia-backed separatists on Feb. 18 had fired on the positions of the Ukrainian troops eight times, seven of which using 122mm caliber artillery systems and 120mm and 82mm caliber mortars. Four Ukrainian soldiers were injured, according to the press center of the Ukrainian military.
“The units of the defenders responded to the enemy fire with duty weapons. The enemy’s losses are being ascertained,” the report says.
