You're reading: Forbes: No holds barred by 20 artists shortlisted for Pinchuk Art Centre Prize 2020

Twenty artists under 35 have been shortlisted for the biennial Pinchuk Art Centre prize in Kyiv. The exhibition of their work is on show there until May 2020. Four prize winners will receive financial awards ranging from around 1,000 to 10,000 euros plus invaluable artistic support and development. The main winner will also automatically be included in the Future Generation Prize exhibition at the Venice Art Biennale in 2021 (with a grand prize of $100,000) and will be given a solo show at the Pinchuk Art Centre. The winners of the Pinchuk Art Centre’s main and special prizes are decided upon by an international jury that this year includes curators from Kiasma, Finland’s national gallery and the Foundation Cartier in Paris. The winner of the public choice prize is determined by votes of the visitors attending the exhibition of the shortlisted artists.
