Famous Ukrainian cartoonist, film director, screenwriter Davyd Cherkasky died on Oct. 30.
“Davyd Yanovych Cherkasky died an hour ago. He spent two months after a blood stroke in intensive care unit. Doctors had been fighting for his life for two months,” his friend Oleksandr Melamud wrote on Facebook.
