Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksandr Danylyuk has said that President of Ukraine Volodymy Zelenskiy would submit a bill to the parliament on criminal liability for illegal enrichment in the near future.
“The first and most important thing at this stage is the adoption of a law that will return criminal responsibility for illegal enrichment. (…) President Zelenskiy will soon submit this bill to the Verkhovna Rada. It was his team that developed such a project. I hope today it will be finally agreed with our international partners and will be submitted to the Parliament to make the appropriate decisions,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on May 28.
