  • The second man accused in the Salisbury novichok attack has been identified as a Russian military intelligence officer. His real name is Alexander Mishkin, and according to the UK investigation, he took part in the Kremlin’s military invasion of Ukraine in 2014. There’s more about his past.
  • An unknown person threw a grenade inside an apartment of the leading member of a far-right nationalist group Sich-C14. He was unhurt, but the explosion severely wounded his father.
  • A convoy of military hardware has been spotted heading for Simferopol, the capital city of Crimea, occupied by Russia. The convoy consisted of dozens of trucks, as well as two Tiger armored vehicles and one armored personnel carrier.
  • The Ichnia ammunition depot in Chernihiv Oblast is still burning. The weapons, mines, bombs it stored are exploding — there’s on average one explosion every three minutes, according to Ukraine’s Defense Ministry.
