War news
- The U.S. supports Ukraine. And to show this support, America moored its Navy guided missile destroyer for three days at the commercial port of Odesa.
- Russian-led forces shoot at Ukrainian forces’ positions in the Donbas. As a result, one soldier has been killed, two have been wounded amid 16 attacks over the last day.
- Russia doesn’t limit its war against Ukraine to battlefield. It is also spreading misinformation about Ukrainians, including in countries like Syria. This makes the pro-government Syrian army hate Ukraine.
- Ukraine arrests its ex-Chief of General Staff. Retired Colonel General Volodymyr Zamana is accused of ruining the combat potential of Ukraine’s armed forces amid the threat of Russian invasion.

- The European Union wants Ukraine to reduce carbon emissions. For this purpose, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has arranged $56 million in funding to oilseed producer Kernel Group to build four biomass power plants.
