You're reading: CEC registers 136 foreign observers at presidential elections in Ukraine

The Central Election Commission (CEC) at a meeting on Feb. 12 registered another 27 official observers from international organizations in the next presidential elections in Ukraine, which will be held on March 31.

Having considered the relevant appeals, the Commission registered nine official observers from the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO), and 18 from the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, the CEC press service reported on Feb. 12.

“Thus, on February 12, 2019, the commission registered 136 official observers from international organizations and a foreign state at the next presidential elections in Ukraine on March 31, 2019,” the message said.
