A TV channel will be launched for residents of areas of occupied Donbas on the basis of the UA TV channel in February 2020, which will broadcast in Ukrainian and Russian, said Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Volodymyr Borodiansky.

“Our task is to make sure that people in the temporarily occupied territories know the truth about what is happening in Ukraine, so that we can start a dialogue with people living in this territory. First of all, with the scientific community. And our task is to convey the truthful information,” Borodiansky said in an interview with Dzerkalo Tyzhnia. Ukraine weekly.

According to him, the broadcast language will be Ukrainian and Russian. Currently, the process of creating such a TV channel is underway on the basis of UA TV, which should be launched in February.
