A decision of the Kyiv City Council to ban alcohol sale in retail shops at night (from 11:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m.) in Kyiv took effect from October 24.
The decision of the Kyiv City Council was published in the Khreschatyk newspaper.
The Kyiv City Council made the decision at the end of September.
The ban is applicable to legal entities that have a license for retail trade in alcohol, however, restaurants and other catering facilities are not subject to the ban.
