President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that attempts to deliver humanitarian aid to Mariupol will continue until “we can help our people.”
“Unfortunately, the humanitarian corridor in Mariupol was blocked. Again. We have done everything that is necessary. Provided ceasefire. Russian troops disrupted the movement of cargo and buses. But we will try again. Until we can help our people. For they are ours. Our Mariupol. Heroic Mariupol,” he said in a video statement on the Sunday night, March 13.
At the same time, according to him, “more than ten humanitarian corridors have worked. Kyiv region, Luhansk region… Some 5,550 people were saved over the day, and already over 130,000 over recent six days.
“And this is also due to the negotiations. We must understand this,” he said.
