Several people were detained during an unsanctioned protest against Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s inauguration in downtown Minsk on Sept. 23 evening.
Security officers used water cannons to disperse a crowd of protesters outside the Great Patriotic War Museum, eyewitnesses told Interfax.
Approximately 10 people have been detained and arrests continue, according to eyewitnesses.
