The European Union has officially confirmed that it stops financing projects to develop more than 10 checkpoints on the western border of Ukraine. In addition, Ukraine will have to return some of the funds. This is stated in the official explanation of the European Commission, Evropeyska Pravda reports.
EU spokeswoman Maia Kosjančić explained that the Union stops implementation of projects for which it was required to transfer 29.2 million euros.
